Well, if you're that down on yourself that you want to buy 'Despicable Me', then maybe selling you all the other crap will make you feel wanted.

Versus what? I only see two versions on BD: The 3-disc version for $27.99 and the 4-disc version for $34.99. The 4-disc version adds 3D, so either you're buying it for $27.99 without the 3D version or $34.99 with the 3D version. So, what's the big question mark?
Are you just saying you wish there were a cheaper single-disc version, but since there isn't, you're not buying it?

I remember seeing 3 versions of another recent BR release in the target ad.
1 disc, 3 disc, and 4 disc with DVD and digital copy.

Yeah, what a bunch of crap that is. Screw the digital copy - just give me a DVD I can rip for the kids. I like the 2-disc BD/DVD combo packs, but all this extra crap is useless. Somebody must be buying them or the studios wouldn't keep making them.

That is partially better...I thought the digital copy was on the disc? I will have to check mine out at home.
You need an internet connection to use digital copy?

it's handy having a movie or two on a flight. my wife and i travel with a few movies on the iPod touch/iPhone and a phone splitter so that we can share.
and a full hookup so we can patch into the TV in the hotel room where we're staying, or listen to internet radio over the TV speakers.

The movie is on the disc, but it's all encrypted, so you need the internet connection to plug the code that comes with the disc into their software to decrypt the MP4 (iTunes) or WMV (Windows Media) file and lock it for playback on only your system and devices.
Gotta love DRM.

Do you need an internet connection everytime you play it or only when you "install" it?
