|
|
Just got a NOS Xtra and am fascinated by the sharpness and perfectness of the menus. I now have a reference for what a perfectly good looking one should look like!
However, I wanted to see an image on it so I hooked up a DVD player to it via S-Video, did all the signal entry things, and when it got done it detected the signal, however it is all over the place, the color is black and white, and you can see video but cannot see what it actually looks like...
I've never used the S-Video or composite on any of my NECs before so I dont know if Im doing something wrong. Any help would be appriciated. Once Im over this issue all I have to do is calibrate it and be amazed

If there's no color, one of the pins on the s-video cable could be broken.
Beyond that, I know nothing at all about the NEC's, so I'm no help, there!

Sounds like a bad Svideo connector / cable.
