Ive seen a couple of spatz hdmifix on ebay and wondering if they are any good for crt's? WHat about the atlona and gefen products? Any comments or opinions? I also might be in the austin area to try out for the 6th street regiment senior drum and bugle corps, i know theres a couple crt'ers in the area that might be able to demo their pj?

The HD fury should work. The model 3 outputs positive and negative sync. What projector are you using ?

Does the NEC XG 75 accept both positive and negative sync on all it's inputs ?

The HDMIFIX allows you to edit the EDID information sent to the source device. This is good if you need to manipulating a source into sending a feed that it doesn't otherwise want to. For example, sometimes a source insists on sending colors in digital RGB, but you want colors in digital YCbCr. The HDMIFIX can work to convince the source to do this.

If you want to go DVI/HDMI to the projector the HDMIFIX can not do this as it outputs HDMI digital.

The HDFury products will transcode HDMI to RGBHV if that is what you need. However, the Moome EXT-FULLHD performs much better than the HDF3 in terms of video quality and usability. The EXT-FULLHD is also on sale now.
