I'm not sure how soon I'd be able to make it over to people but I'd like to see some CRT setups that are running 1080p that are close to me. I live in Masury, OH about an hour and a half from Pittsburgh, and an hour from Cleveland. Looking to check out some setups before I buy. Would be nice if someone close had an 8" set running 1080p so I could see the difference.

Thanks!

you and I have been PMing, so you know I'm close. I should have a 1080p72hz setup soon. I'm currently 1080i60hz due to source limitations, but that will change shortly. I think there is another forum member nearby as well, but haven't seen him around as of late.

Thanks, 3 hours may be a bit far? But who knows lol. Guessing you use the G90 for the most part? Or are you blending all of those?

Paul yes we've been talking Smile My friend Bob and I might come out to see you soon, have to see. Hard to work out 3 schedules lol.

That could be cool. Scalers is an entire topic I need to look into apparently lol. In your PM you mentioned an event at the beginning of the year, so who knows might be able to swing up to NY for that.

Cool! Maybe sometime later this fall? I'm still trying to catch up on summer projects. Embarassed Hopefully by then my VP will be in place. Maybe I can try and get Mike to come down as well. We'll figure it out. My theatre / family room isn't anything to brag about compared to Nash's blend, but it should be fun, nonetheless.

Cool! I have yet to see the blend myself, so I will have to check it out. I'll bring the my Super VIM with me. Then you can check it out side by side with a stock VIM with the peaking circuit. Thumbs Up

I'm getting closer to where i want it to be. And even if its not perfect id still like to have a small get together of 10 people or so.
Hopefully by then i'll also have the G90 set up on a cart we can wheel in and compare maybe.

Now the pressure is on, i have some work to do!
