I've been thinking about this lately and had a few thoughts. It seems like most of the people here enjoy the hobby and like to tweek and play with their projectors. Curts the main guy and there are a few techs here, not many. Mostly those who want to learn, and play and enjoy. One of the biggest comments I read alot on here is "I want to learn", whether its in setup and adjustment, or performance, repair even tho this is limited, and how things work. Some want to know how things work for no other reason then curiosity.
Many times questions are asked or comments are made and sometimes the answers are difficult to understand. If a tech is answering and talking in tech jargon a true understanding can not be achieved even by others who are just reading along. But the majority want to understand.
This is the reason for many of my long winded non sensible posts. I'm not try to boast anything or shout superiority. Hell, I dont have to say or answer anything at all on here. I choose to because others have asked.
And when I do have a menial post, I'm not talking to any techs or those who do understand...... I'm talking to those who don't. And if someone comments like "who cares about that" I'll tell you who..... Those who want to learn. This was the same reason for my desire to correct some information here a while back. So those who want to learn can learn correctly. Does that mean I think I have all the answers.... NO, but, unless my answer is wrong and can be properly corrected then I still think its the right thing to do even tho the people who know this stuff seems to be annoyed with my long winded teaching posts.
Sometimes I seem to ruffle some feathers with my posts and believe me I dont enjoy that but I guess it comes with the territory. You have to take the good with the bad.
So this thread is open for comments on the issue. If the majority are tired of my voice I can easily stop.
But if your learning anything and want to learn more I will continue. Enjoy

I just want to say thanks to Curt and Kal and everyone else involved with this site. I watched this site for a long time before I purchased. I keep coming back and learning more every day. I appreciate everyone that's willing to offer their experience and wisdom. Thank you.
I do try to stay out of the off-topic area. I know that some feel the need to have relations outside of the home theater and CRT area. I love a good healthy debate in person. That's hard to come by on the internet.
Anyways. Thanks everyone for sharing your time to help others and I'm looking forward to learning more in the future!

Two all beef patties, special sauce (that one's got me worried a bit) Hmmmm, naaa, cancel the order.
I can't seem to clear my mind of special Mac sauce.

What, you can still supersize??
Here in Switzerland, we get small, and medium fries and drink, that is it for selection.
Cheers

if the fastfood from macdonalds is as bad as the coffee they sell then a supersize must be torture.
only 2 things i ever bought at macdonalds are 2 coffee and i still regret i bought them.
as far as i am concerned they can get the heck out of europe and poison someone else with their filth.

hey a lot of good things come from america (jazzmusic lots of great musicians great movies etc etc).
macdonalds just isnt 1 of them, lots of people getting obese and in western europe too btw, because of
this and they are making a big claim on healthcare now and even more in the future.
