Hello people, i dont get on here much these days due to having no internet at home.

I did however manage to get the 1001 up and running with its new tubes and is running in pretty much perfect order. After a 3 or so year battle with this rig i reckon it was well worth the effort, the image is so much better than the Epson digital i have. Black is black, and so are it's clothes...

Also to anyone that was interested in a question i asked quite some time ago about video game light guns on CRT projectors, i have confirmed the Nintendo Zapper works perfectly, and the PS1 Gun Cons also work without a hitch. Tested straight on the wall, image around 115 inch. In order for the guns to be spot on accurate, the aspect ratio must be 4:3, cause that is how the guns were meant to be used.

Hi Casey,
Thanks for the update on the light guns. Now I wonder if those would work at 480p? Hmmmm.......
