Hello guys,
a have a 1998 Barco 1209s Graphics here and would like t know if it need to be updated to a newer
softare version (currently 7.16) is there a big gain in putting in a newer version?

I have a control board (R7625115) that has V.6.20 - is that a good version?

Picture quality will not improve by other firmware. I believe there are only some omprovements in the IRIS, but who uses that anyway
Just enjoy the quiet beauty of the 1209s! I had to chance to see one fully calibrated with d-vhs and htpc playback 1080i/p material. After seeing the cine9 in action a few months earlier, that was the time I decided to go 9"
