Hey all,

I have previously been using my 9PG with my old iScan HD scaler until my Moome EXT came in. I had been using it with some success but could never get it to Sync on anything but Bi-Linear. Now that I have my Moome and I am trying to hook it up to my VP50 I do not have that option and can not get a Sync with the Moome on any of it's Sync settings including RGBS.
+ , - Sync no go.

I figured It may be the system board so I swapped it out with my spare but still a no go.I have a PG6 parts machine if needed.

Any guesses on what else I could try to do or look at? All I can get picture wise is some rolling static. Good news is that is is centered in the screen I guess. Smile I am for the moment trying to get 1080I 60 to work before moving on to other resolutions. I have also tried 720p 60 with the same results.

Any help would be great.

Video chain is as follows.

SA 4250HD cable box
BDP05-FD pioneer elite BD player
HD5750 HTPC
all connected via .5M Cinema Quest HDMI-X to iScan VP50
VP50 > Moome EXT via .5M HDMI-X
Moome > 9PG Via 45FT Cinema Quest Vga to RGBHV cable.

James

Well, I grabbed a crappy old VGA-RGBHV cable I had laying around and what would you know........... My brand new to me cable is BAD!!!!!

Do theses things have different pin-outs or are they all the same. Just wondering before I send it out to AQ to be repaired......

Ok, So I did some continuity tests and everything checks out but the V-Sync is on pin 10 of the VGA connector from what I could see that is wrong for what I need. Should it not be v-sync on pin 14 and shielding grounded to pin 4?
