Hi all,

I have one (easy) question:

There is no possibility to choose Input A. Switcher is selected and there is no way to change it,
although there is no switcher connected?

Thanks..

(I have already read Install/User manual)

EDIT: Found it by my self...

Answer: Turn off 5rgb mode in settings menu.

Comment: In comparison to marquee and nec pg the g70 memory structure is really uncomfortable. No copy, no load.

If you have the late firmware there is an extended service menu that has the copy and manual memory load features.

I believe (it's been a while) all you need to do is set the "A" input to RGB or YPrPb and select the "A" input button.
Sorry that's all I remember, it's been set and forget for years.

Concerning The G70 running the Old firmware

Does Any one know how to Clear the extra input memory blocks of the Saving the standard Registration Data
in service man ? or if it's even possible (I dont mean the Video memory in the picture control menu)

I know the first 10 are factory set but what about the other 90 as Im now upto 70 something Laughing

I think the later G70 firmware has this feature in plain view but I wanto keep the old firmware..

Thanks in advance for any help ,
Cheers...

It’s several physical replacement chips at least. The processor is programmed by the “upgrade” and can’t then be reverted to the old firmware as the old chips lack the programming code (cred: Bruce).
IMHO the old firmware is preferable as it gives access to the G2 adjustment (so AKB can be turned off). I have a spare set of controller boards with the new firmware I would gladly swap for another set with the old. They’re not too heavy so shipping shouldn’t be $$$...

1) after setting up your first registration and convergence hold the save button for 5 to 30 seconds then answer YES to save registration to all data blocks.

2) with later firmware go to the Extended Service menu and manually copy from a source block to all the others you want wiped out. I think you have to do this one block at a time (I've never actually done this but should work in theory)

Thank AFryia,

So basicaly There is no way to clear All the previously used Memory blocks back to new unused state,
allowing to start back at Memory block 10 other than to perform the above saving to all Data blocks..

Jase..

None that I know of. Neutral

How many inputs sources have you setup already?

You could take your most watched source data block and copy to all then re-converge the others. A PIA I know.
