Is this unit only for Pal or can it be used with NTSC?

Also, is the output picture from the Faroudja RGBHV better or same as the HDMI moome in my g70?

The U stands for Universal, it will do NTSC & PAL.

great machine , if you don't have to use Digital connections

depends what cables you use. very high quality RGBHV cables can be almost as good as HDMI.

also depends on the video output on your source (DVD player, ...)



it will only accept SD signals
