Crazy Heart [Blu-ray] (2009)

The gripping drama about a faded country singer based on the novel by Thomas Cobb is coming to Blu-ray in April.

20th Century Fox is working on Scott Cooper's 'Crazy Heart' starring Jeff Bridges (in his Oscar winning role), Maggie Gyllenhaal (in her Oscar nominated turn), and Colin Farrell for a Blu-ray release on April 20.

The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements will include deleted scenes and alternate music cuts (some of which will be exclusive to the Blu-ray) as well as the Blu-ray exclusive featurette: Jeff Bridges, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Robert Duvall on what brought them to Crazy Heart.


Plot Synopsis:

Bad Blake (Jeff Bridges) is a broken-down, hard-living country music singer who's had way too many marriages, far too many years on the road and one too many drinks way too many times. And yet, Bad can't help but reach for salvation with the help of Jean (Maggie Gyllenhaal), a journalist who discovers the real man behind the musician. As he struggles down the road of redemption, Bad learns the hard way just how tough life can be on one man's crazy heart.
