|
|
Greetings. I haven't been here in a while!
A friend has an ECP (3500 I think) that I set up for them. They had me come look at it today and I found that the Green tube is horribly out of focus in the bottom region only (see pic below). This is not an optical problem, the tube face looks exactly like this. Only the Green tube is affected.
I tried adjusting the ES focus pot but and that affects the whole tube (as it should) and not just the affected region.
Does anyone have any ideas about what would cause this or what I should try?
Thanks in advance for your help.

You can try the CLR/Alcohol method, it may work. I tried flushing one tube with ammonia but it did next to nothing. I took mine apart, surprisingly easy actually, as the fungus was stuck on the glass pretty good. It took several minutes using rubbing alcohol and eye glass cleaner but it worked.
