Hello all,

There are NEC144 lenses mounted on my Barco 808s.

I have been running my adjustments a bit hard to get the picture size down to 8ft when mounted as per Barco manual. Would anybody know how to figure the correct throw with these lenses. Before I drill more holes in my ceiling I'd like to have a ball park for where to drill!

Cheers,

Thermio

1.3x width, assuming they function as they did on a NEC.

Turns out that works out right along with the NEC manual and my buddies practical observation of about 5" less than the Barco. With triple redundancy I will now drill another set of holes in the concrete ceiling. I look forward to not having to stretch the adjustments. Thank you.

Did you have the 808 set up originally with HD8 lenses ?

The HD144s focus about 8-12 inches shorter but have you maximized the raster ?
