A friend let me borrow his tv that he had sitting in his garage. It has two problems. The first is the image is tilted slightly to the left. I assume that can be easily corrected by taking the back cover off and moving the magnets on the neck. The second is it has a case of keystone. That is something I have no idea how to correct. There is nothing in the instruction manual. Does anyone know if there is a service menu or a knob inside the set for this?

Hi, if if its a CRT (tube) set you are correct on the first item that the tilted image can be straightened by loosening the yoke on the neck of the tube a rotating it. ...but for the keystone its a different matter - the keystone might be adjustable via the TV's internal Service Menu if it has one...or on some sets by adjusting hidden controls via plastic screwdriver on the back of the set...it would help to have a service manual for the set in this case.

The problem is optical. the mirror or lens assembly has moved from its original position.
I also have Apex set in my shop that my neighbor left with me. It needs a board, but other than that it's like new.
There's absolutely no support for it, so If you need any parts, let me know. It'll be leaving here in the next large trash run.

I think the usual solution for a case of keystone is to drink it until it's gone.

Thanks for the info. I ended up not messing with it. I am going to use it for another week then it goes back to my friend.
