i have a samsung dlp tv
it makes a loud humming sound when powered up
after reading, i have determined it to be a bad color wheel (bearings?)
anyway, i have ordered a new color wheel assembly
there is never any evidence of the bulb firing at power up
so, my question is:
would a bad color wheel prevent the bulb from firing?
