Can anyone tell me why my XG 75 stop storing or saving my setings? I use the PC software and I have had no problem with it up to now. All my setings are no longer listed and when I try to enter new ones the software will take me through the steps but will not save. This makes the projector useless. What can I do?

It doesn't have a memory battery - the memory is some kind of flash memory. (The Supercap is for the date and time.)
Have you entered a passcode before you try and save?
Did you play with any switches on the System Board?

I have entered the code, 3151 but I get nothing. I have not messed with anything inside of the CRT. I dont know what is going on, Im at a lost. Is there a way to reset the CRT to factory settings? Maybe that will do something. Or maybe its the software.

Does it save when you first do it and then lose stuff after a restart?
Did it save stuff before and now all of a sudden it wont?
How long have you been using this projector?
Is it a 750 or 751?

I returned your email. Chances are the system board has failed.
Try entering a new signal entry manually via the remote and not the software, and see if that works. If your hour counter reads 000, then the memory has taken a dump, and probably also has erased your white balance settings. I think that's stored in the software, so you should be able to retrieve that if you need to get a new system board, and load it into the new board.

Yea it would save then after restart all saves would be gone. now today it started saving out of nowhere so I don't know what to make of it. I have had it for about a year and I have only used the software. The remote that came with it was broken.

Yea, I had one with the exact same problem. I was able to fix it and I gave my info to Curt and I think he'd had some of his own. So send it to Curt.
