I installed my updated moome card several weeks ago and it looked better than it did before the upgrade. On Christmas day I turn the projector on and switched to Direct tv and the picture size had changed, smaller, than it had been. I am not sure what caused the change in picture geometry so I thought i would post and get some help. None of my source original setting were changed before this issue.
I adjust the picture size for the direct tv source but when I switch inputs on the Denon to the Netgear eva 9150 media player source, the picture size changed. This never happen before the upgrade.
The original memory set for the G90 has always stayed the same but now the geometry change as I change inputs on the Denon. The HDMI outputs are being sent to the G90 via Denon AVP-1 set at 1080p 60. The G90 Clamp setting has always been RGB.
Thanks in advance!
Wishing you a blessed and healthy New Year!!
Felix

Felix,
Was that upgrade from V1 --> V2 w/filter change or from V2 wo/filter change --> V2 w/filter change?
As soon as Mike gets the updated card to me, I'll be making the former change and am curious what to expect.

Betel, it is v 2 with the filters and the picture resolution is fantastic! I would imagine if I get the G90 calibrated, the picture quality would even better. The G90 was last calibrated using the Teranex Mini
Upconverter with SDI.
Yes Mike Parker, you have reasons to smile as I understand this was your suggestion. Now if I could fly Mike Parker to Stow Ohio, just east of Cleveland to tweak my G90, I would be good to go!
What say you Mike? 1 day trip?
Take care,
Felix

I would like to do that, especially since you're near Cleveland. And I'll be heading that way sometime in the near future...
However, I'm not a G90 guy. I've never set one up or really played around with the insdies of the menus. So with that, it would be best for me to recommend someone who I believe would be the best for you. And that would be CraigR. he is without a doubt the best G90 guy on the planet. At least he's the best G90 calibrator that I've had an opportunity to know and spend some time with. The guy knows and understands all that techie stuff, which to me is what makes him well worth whatever he ask for.
I would however like to still come that way and see what things look like since you are in my path to Cleveland.
Glad you liked and was able to really appreciate the work the results from the mods..
You should also wait for the final results of the G90 mods. That I'm sure will make things that much better still.
Moome has a great product there. It is the BEST I've seen today for image quality.

Mike, when you travel near here, please let me know. As sharp as my 60" Pioneer is, when guest come over they prefer to watch movies and sporting events in the Home Theater where the G90 is located. Watching the Cavaliers play the Lakers on Christmas day, viewed with the G90 and your mods was really impressive!
Your improvement is noticeable on my "Silver Star Vutec" screen! I have been following your G90 tread on this forum with great anticipation! Would love to get my hand on an inexpensive good Barco 909.
Take care
Felix
