Hi,

Fellow member Athanasios pointed that the Marquee VIM has various ICs that are labelled in the schematics as having edge blending functionality (they seem to be modulating contrast).

Can you let us know what edge blending functionality is there (albeit dormant) in Marquee VIMs?

Thanks in advance - Andres

There is a place (P3 and P4) for an edge blend waveform board to plug into the VIM. U21 is positioned to switch the contrast control voltage from the standard contrast voltage to the edge blend contrast control voltage. It looks like Electrohome had plans to offer edge blend capability. I don't know how far it went. VDC didn't get any hardware or any information about this. That's all I know.

So they designed the VIM to accept a yet to be designed blending waveform board or it was designed but not produced?
There must be a preliminary design floating around VDC somewhere if they knew what they needed to connect it to?
Let's build the board and hold all these Marquee pukes wallets hostage Twisted Evil Mr. Green
