Should be a no brainer but I could use the answer right away if someone spots this fairly quickly. Hopefully the dealer
can give me his wisdom. But I alway prefer to hear it from CRT people.

I believe the install only needs to run 20 to 25 feet computer to CRT.

I'm not sure I follow: Are you asking if it's better to extend a bundle of wires used in a single cable often seen in a VGA cable, or to extend the 5 separate cables used in the 5BNC lines?

IF that's it, the BNC cables are separate and bigger (less drop, less noise, etc) so best to extend those usually.

when I finished my basement I did vga for the short runs, like behind the rack between the pc and the extron, then ran a nice 5bnc cable the 20ft to the pj. has been working great. I guess with the work I've done in the past it always seems long vga cables fail before anything else. just my opinion.

Go for the 5 RGBHV cables and use a break out (in?) cable like this:

VGA Male to 5 BNC female cable
