I just aquired this transcoder as a throw in to a projector I bought...any ideas which one it is? Seems to have an adjustable pot of some sort inside the case...the back is just a green and red light.

I don't think it is - the Petr transcoder that I have is much more square than rectangular. Maybe 3x3x5". This one is more similar to Kim's t-coder in shape.

Perhaps it's an early version kim t-coder...I wonder if the pot inside is for gamma.

That's definitely a Petr...I had one of those as well. He just lives a few minutes away from me, actually.

It looks exactly like a 1040 but there is no gamma or iac...although there is a pot inside...I guess it's for iac or gamma. I'll have to check. I think it's an excellent transcoder, whatever it may be!
