Anyone seen this movie? Some of the comments over at IMDB suggest something may have changed during the film's production (budget?) that caused what might have been a 3 hour movie into a 2. Others suggested that flashback scenes seemed to be directed by someone else.
You know we all about Vamps these days, but this takes place shortly after WWII, in Japan.

There was a Japanese anime for this, but I am referring to the movie.
