Ceiling, raised and lowered by a damn clever winch system... too clever by half, since the cable clamps parted and DROPPED MY SHINY NEW 9PG Xtra! Fate, not forsight, had positioned a 24" thick air mattress under the PJ when it fell.
NEC OEM mount, crossed unistrut a'la Chip (STEFUEL) still need to (re)finish the ceiling.

Ceiling is the only way to go. I never even considered another option!

Title: My Projector cart
Description: Built for my AMPRO 4000G and shown here with the SONY 1252Q this cart sits chest high, and 31 inches wide. Which consequently is the exact size of my front door.
It was built outside.
Didn't think I was going to get it through the door. It JUST fit.

You wouldn't by chance have some specs, measurements and building instructions for that cart would you.
I'd love to have one of those for my new toy if you have them...
Gosh, this place is great.
I feel like I've went from totally clueless regarding projectors to a moderately informed PJ hobbyist in just 2-3 short days (and mostly bleary-eyed nights) since I found this place and have been doing my homework and studying as time allows

Built it out of hardwood skids.
Our motto:
"Built by the Approximate Construction Company. We take pride in just comming close"
Literaly.
The wood is a little warped and although all the measurements are good top to bottom the legs just don't quite line up. lol
Built it on uneven pattio stones in my friends back yard.
I'll post measurements and constructions details with pictures when I get a chance....
Then I need professional help to figure out what I did wrong

I have 2 VERY solid, low-profile (10" high) hardwood moving dolly a friend gave me with large wheels on the bottom f it, and it seems like if modded properly and I added a table to it, it would be PERFECT.

Why not design your own then? Go nuts with it. I came up with a few more designs I'd like to try but don't have the time to impliment.

Any chance you have or could make some quick and dirty sketches of your design thoughts and scan them and upload or e-mail them to me?
Would probably save me a LOT of time and efforts, and maybe MANY others as well. It seems with your experience, even very rough sketches scanned and uploaded somewhere could be of great intellectual value to many.
Thanks

Sorry, I never come unprepared.
Would be a fun T-shirt, though.
