Hi guys!

Over the last few months Moome's been very busy working with Walter (WTS), Mike Parker, and Craig Rounds to increase the performance of his next generation of HDMI 1.3 cards. The new version 2 card includes special Mike Parker improvements for greater sharpness, higher bandwidth, less noise, and some gamma curve adjustments from Walter (among other things).

Currently on sale as well but only for the first 20 orders (Sony IFB-FULLHD) and 10 orders (Marquee VIM-FULLHD). Both ship in late October.

Moome has also further reduced the NEC XG-FULLHD HDMI 1.3 input card sale price down to only $360 USD. This offer's only valid for the next 20 orders. After that the price goes back up to $400. First come, first served! If you're looking at adding an HDMI 1.3 input card to your NEC XG projector, now's the time. There will not be a v2 XG card. See the NEC XG-FULLHD order page here: http://www.curtpalme.com/NEC_XG-FULLHD.shtm

How do the new version 2 cards compare to the original?

Complete information on the changes can be found in the Moome v2 card comparison document (PDF format). Below is a quick summary:

Gamma: Improved Gamma for more linear greyscale (changes suggested by Walter/WTS)
Sharpness: Sharper Image (changes suggested by Mike Parker)
Picture purity: Cleaner/Less noise (changes suggested by Mike Parker)
Super White: Now Supports Super White for higher dynamic range
Stability: ESD enhanced to prevent electrostatic discharge

Reviews/Testimonials

"Moome's original design squashed (attenuated) 65% of the full bandwidth when running 1080p 60Hz. With Mike's new circuit, the FULLHD v2 now can resolve the entire 1080p 60Hz signal. With Moome's new design his card is the first and only option that can do full 1080p and YCbCr... the image is amazing!" - Craig Rounds, official FULLHD v2 tester, professional calibrator (www.cir-engineering.com)
