My Sony G90 doesn't start up anymore. Crying or Very sad
It just does nothing when I press the power on button. The display on the back is black and no LED lightens up. Even the light of the built in remote doesn't work. But when I insert the power cable I hear this typical slightly audible sound which shows that there is power on the cable. I checked the two fuses on the back and they measured ok.

Does anyone has any idea?

Thanks!

Yes, the power supplies (one of them) is most likely bad. THese are very tricky to repair, but I have spares or can repair yours.

Let me know if you want to send the two boards in.

Thanks for your answer. Smile

I measured a bit and I found out that R4 at the F board is defective. The service manual describes it as a fuse resistor. Now I have to find a replacement which doesn't seem to be easy.

Do you know what could have caused the fusing?

Thread can be closed. I changed that resistor and the G90 works again. Smile
