Recently my HDP Pro blanked out. Jim Peterson said I could send it back and they could look at it. Maybe they could revive it with a firmware burn. Based upon how the unit failed I suspected it was more than firmware and was doubtful of success.

Lumagen not only checked the firmware they also put a scope on the board and found a bad resistor. Crying or Very sad After replacing that, and reburning the firmware the unit was back in order! Very Happy

It would have been so easy to say, "The unit is bad and needs a new board." (costly) Instead, for a small bench fee they got the unit back up and working! I couldn't be happier!!!

Not only does Lumagen make a fine product they have killer customer service!!! Hats off to Lumagen! Very Happy Very Happy

Curt

Yepp, they rock!!!, Not many companies are like this anymore, the bigger they get the worse customer service they have it seems.
TV-One has the same ethics. two great processor companies .

I've been an authorized Lumagen dealer for many years now, and my clients have had nearly 100% positive things to say about them over the course... I love Lumagen.

I have used a Vision, a Vision Pro, and the HDP and installed HDPs on a friend's system as well as my daughter's. Each has been excellent. Lumagen support is fantastic. Thanks Jim and Kim!

I have a Vision Pro. I don't use it anymore thanks to the wonders of an upscaling Blu-Ray player but it is a very good machine.

Prior to that, I had a Faroudja DVP2200, which only outputs up to 800x600. The color quality out of the DVP2200 is incredible,
but the Vision Pro is really on about the same level and it does 1080p. The winner there is obvious.

The Vision Pro still is useful to me, though. It's used with my DVL-90 laserdisk player so I can watch my laserdisk collection
at something better than 480i. I have a few LD movies that I don't have in any other format.

I e-mailed Lumagen today for some help with my new to me Vision PRO HDP they got back to me in less than 1 hour, and answered my questions, plus made me an offer to buy back my USED Lumagen if I were to purchase a new Radiance.

It was a damn good offer too. But I am broke, so I can't do it. Crying or Very sad

And they, Well Jim Peterson, also recommended I get a pro to set it up and mentioned some GUY name Craig Rounds? Shocked

CIR Engineering? Wink

Who's this Guy? Wink

J/K Craig, wish I had the dough.

What great customer service. I didn't buy anything from them and they still helped and made a really enticing offer too.

Really, really, enticing. Thumbs Up

And sent me to the Guru of CRT and Lumagen to boot. Smile

Lumagen's definitely a great company to work with. They really seem to understand how to keep customers happy by generally being helpful.

We also carry Radiance stuff here: www.curtpalme.com/Radiance.shtm
(Was on sale last month for $1000-$1500 off too!)
