This year I plan to print up and follow the vendors list. I want ot focus on stuff I "might" own some day,. not listen to so much stuff that costs more than my house. A little bit of that is OK but too much of it is just depressing (like looking at college girls all day and knowing your their dad's age)

Wow. Awesome. Amazing looking at so much of that stuff. It's awesome to me that there are so many people who can afford to that kind of thing, that there's an entire show devoted to it.
So, how do they do that? Take over entire hotel suites and move the furniture out?
I do have to giggle every time I see cable elevators, though.

What do you mean giggle?
Without the cable elevators to keep the skin effect of the cable from picking up the static electrical charge from the carpet, especially when you walk near the cables, you will get a static resonance going to your speakers. Just because you have a tin ear and can't hear the difference doesn't mean that someone else can't.
I will glady sell you these for $125 for each elevator, if you will send me the money first and then wait 4 months for me to cast from virgin ceramic materials only found in the Sahara desert during the full moon cycle of December. Then wait for 1 more month for the slow kiln drying process to occur at 3 degrees per day to insure then best possible sonic performance
Audiofools money graciously accepted

I wonder if old sneakers from the Salvation Army would work for cable elevators... Or, perhaps penny loafers if you wanted a dressier, yet still casual feel. Maybe wingtips if you have a really "dressed-up" system...
Actually, the cable elevator fairies are still my favorites.

LOL, love that last pic.
Actually old sneakers work just fine, anything to get the cable up off the carpet. If you have wood or tile floors then no elevators needed.
I really wanted to go but Saturday but it was a sunny 70 degree's here and being cooped in a hotel seemed like punishment. I jumped on my road bike and pedaled 30 miles instead. Helps with depression and beer belly's too
