I'm busy working through all the tech bulletins for my 98 vintage 8500, and I had a question on the Dot fix bulletin TB00-02. The bulletin does not get specific on what type of 560pF capacitor is needed to go in parallel with R85, other than a CHristie part-number that is absolutely meaningless to me. Was hoping one of you would know what voltage and type I should use? Thanks for the help!

They usually are only in ceramic material, but film will work too but why pay more for film? And 50-100 vdc should be enough.

My one claim to fame on this forum (and clearly forgotten about Sad ) - have a look here for full details of the Dot Fix and the Snap fix including pictures and links to the exact caps to use and where to get 'em! About 2/3rds of the way down the page.

Hope that helps!
