Greetings all,

I have had an NEC XG110LC that I bought from Curt installed in my HT for almost two years now. For the past 3-4 months, every now and then the set will start fluttering a bit to the point that it becomes unwatchable. The picture wavers or fluctuates, and you can clearly see that the tubes are fluttering independently, such that the convergence goes out of whack. It continually jumps around such that a convergence adjustment will not fix the issue. It does not do this all the time, and I haven't been able to figure out any sort of pattern or consistency when it does this and when it does not. I am using the Moome HDMI card as the only input from a DVDO VP30 switching box, but this happens regardless of the source selected at the DVDO device. Any ideas as to what is causing this? Any specific things to look for? I am hosting an event on the 20th of September, and I need this to work correctly that day.

thank you very much,

cj

Umm...maybe unplug the C drive yoke connections and see if the problem goes away (the image will be unconverged though).

Curt, can you run an XG like that? I've done that with the A and F drive connections, but not the C.

And whatever you do, DON'T disconnect the V drive connections instead!
