|
|
I have a Sanyo Z5 HD projector which is cabled with component inputs. I have a VirginV+ cable box which has HDMI output which I need to use to download HD movies. All works fine through the component cables and I can get HD picture. I have bought the HDFury 2 and have hooked and configured the cable box to output to HDMI and the blue LED is lighting up so the signal must be coming out of the HDFury 2 but no picture through the projector. I have sent the first one back to the reseller in the UK and they said it was faulty and sent another one which has firmware 1.5 on the outside. I am in the UK.
Does anyone have any suggestions on why it won't work.

Hi Bryan,
Do you have the HDFury2's power supply?
Can you give us a hook up diagram like this:
Source--HDMI.cable---HDFury2==component==projector.
Also do you have the side switch set to YUV on the HDfury2?

I have attached the HD fury to the sat box using hdmi cable. the component lead comes out of the fury and i use a gender connector and connect to my component cable that goes up the wall over the ceiling and into the projector. The cable run is 25-30 feet.
