I've always seen the LaCie CRT monitors around. Cool blue color with a hood.

Are these any good? Have any of you guys had experience with them?

I understand they were top of the heap monitors for color rendering and proofing etc... Never saw one in person though.

I'm pretty sure that the electron blue iv is the best CRT monitor you can get short of a Sony GDM-fw900 or a Barco reference V. They utilize Sony Tubes and are actually available verse the other two (been tracking fw900s for years with no luck)

I contacted the seller of the 21 inch. It was sold but they still had the hood so I snagged it. Now all I have to do is find a matching monitor, Very Happy

I also have been looking for 7 W900's for about 6 years. I do have 2 G520's, I had one doing 1600x1200 at 103Hz. Truly awesum

I've got a pair of DELL p1110 21"(Sony G500s) that I've fixed (brightness)... liked them so much i drove them from Vancouver to Toronto in my 79' TransAm.. I think their added weight added an easy $100 to my gas consumption.... was worth it to see the look in the Buick GN owners face when I passed him with them in the back Smile

I've got an electron 22 blue Smile Bought it second hand about 4 years ago. Still a fairly sharp picture on it too. And as the name suggests, its a 22" tube Smile I believe mine uses a mitsubishi diamondtron tube, apparently very similar to the sony trinitron tubes, some say its even superior to sonys.. Didnt come with the hood but that suits me fine.
