we can help to get a better one adaptor, but liner transformer is more heavy,
so the shipping will be $15~25 to ship back~

thanks, please report upon unit arrival, also is it possible to "restrict" scan rate being processed through the ext to the projector ?, my sole intent for the ext is to use it with a sony 1031q, it has no protection for scan rate higher than 36khz, please review and advise as this would be an upgrade i may want to have done to avoid accidental damage to the pj--brad

yes, modify the edid can restrict the output resolution, but if you want to use for other projector,
you will need re-program EDID again~

just modify the EDID will restrict the resolution, you have option to do:

1. we send you new EDID and you exchange the old one
2. send the EXT back for change EDID

my ext is in transit back to you now, when it arrives for repair/exchange is there a charge to "modify the EDID" or is this a software setting you program prior to shipping ?
