Does anybody by chance have a signal generator? I got a o-scope for my xg and will probably have to do a full mech. white balance. But my understanding is that I need to adjust using a composite input source. I have nothing that I can use for that type of source. I only have a pc hooked up for my dvd playing source.

Get a $39 DVD player and use the composite output.

Buy it from somewhere with a good return policy and just take it back when you're done...

I did it using my PC from memory.

You watch the PC, not composite.

I do have some vague memories of hooking up a DVD player to set something, but I think you can do it all with a PC source.
