Unplug it. You have a dead short somewhere in the set, usually the focus board. THe LVPS might also be bad. If it clicks as soon as you plug the set in without turning it on, suspect the wired keypad or the IR sensor or the LVPS. If it only clicks when you turn the set on, start pulling boards and connectors until it stops. Then you've found your defective board. (unplug the set each time you disconnect a connector or pull a board of course)

Thank you I unpluged it. And found the wire from the green neck board to the tube had come loose. Put it back on now machine fires up no clicking or flashing LVPS light.

Why are wires on your machine coming loose, are you watching movies in the back of a moving Truck?

The first time on the blue I haven't a clue.
This time I know what happened. [That's how come I knew where to look right away.] I dropped a wing nut off of the green focus coil and had to pull the neck board to get at it. So not loose really, just not secured right I guess.
The 9500 is running well again. Great picture, well good enough for now anyway.

I don't think that's it. If you're talking about the black wires coming from the front of the tube that connect via single crimp connectors, those are only ground leads, it doesn't matter if one is on or not, and won't cause LVPS shutdown.
I predict that you either have a loose screw under a connector somewhere, or a wire is pinched under the red tube housing. I had one like that, took weeks to figure out. One of the brass screws from the focus yoke had rolled against the back plane 64 pin PC board connector under one of the tubes, and would cut in and out at will... when it felt like it. I finally stripped the whole set down, and there it was.

Thanks Curt. It wasn't the black wires it was one of the small wires that went directly on to the tube pin. Whitish, pinkish G-2?
Or maybe the white insulating strip moved out of the way on the flip down heatsink? It was in place but it is loose from the aluminum.
What should I use to glue this back on
I don't really know.If it wasn't the G-2 wire or the white strip I have zero idea of what it was. But is working now thankfully.
Thanks for posting about the focus yoke brass screw. I feel better that it happens to others too.
Although no one ever seems to admit it.

Hello
You want a snug fit on the G2 wire, flatten the end slightly with pliers.

Thank you, Tim. What about the plastic strip?
