I picked up two low hour G70's two weekends ago. I don't have storage space for them in the apartment and i'm on a budget so i had to go with a small storage unit with no climate control. i know these things can tolerate a fair amount of humidity in storage but since i live in Southern Louisiana and humidity goes all the way to 100% every time it rains, i'm a little concerned. do i have any cause for concern or should i just relax? i have some DampRid canisters and i was thinking i could put them in the unit with the projectors but the unit is not airtight either which makes me wonder if should take the extra measure of sealing them in boxes or plastic with the canisters inside, insuring a dry environment. should i go to this extreme or am i worrying about nothing?

Won't that just hold the moisture in as much as keeping it out? It's not corrosive salt spray, it's just swampy humidity.

You can enclose desiccant in a large plastic bag without any holes in it.
