Depends on the tubes too. If you are working within a wear pattern, it might have to go a long way back. I maxed my rasters to a quarter inch from tube edge and was able to get a 90" wide image at about 9 feet (front of lenses to screen).

The best way to figure it out is to max the rasters to whatever you want them to be, get a rolling cart, and push the projector back and forth until you get the desired width.

ya that was my plan, just hard to get that joker down by myself so i was trying to get a ballpark idea first, so if i need to move my fan i can go ahead and do that beforehand. im also trying to figure out how to build a torus screen. those things are cool. Wink

Take the lenses off, that's about 30 pounds of the 125 total. The 9501lc is a LOT heavier and bigger. I found with the NEC I could at least get my arms around it.

Here's how I have been installing my projector these days. Start here and move forward through...

You animal.

BTW I bought that scaffolding a few weeks ago for a painting job that has 17 ft ceilings. Now it has another purpose, getting the 9500 up on my ceiling. Later I think I am moving to Florida.

I have another offer on my house from a 2nd buyer. Shocked Hopefully it is not as insulting as the last one.
