I need help IDing a diode of sorts. All it says on the Barco schematic is D400. It is shunted across a switching transformer, in series with a diode..

The schematic looks like two diodes pointing towards each other, with a zener like line between them. It says 300V, 1500W.

Part number on the diode/surge protector(?) is

CA
C132.

google comes up with nothing.

I took the diode out of circuit, it's leaky in one direction, and sure enough, the power supply powers up without it in circuit, but it looks like a surge protector/clamp of sorts, so I don't want to leave it out.

Mike Parker/Macguyver/anyone, got any ideas?

K, found the symbol, and I'm guessing this is what it is.

909. I've found the part at Newark. My problem was that I didn't realize that these diodes used the 1.5KE200 as a part number. I googled that, and got lots of hits.

Thanks!

yeap that's a transzorb, I've attached the vishay version of them but it doesn't have a 300v one but then again you don't need it to be exact.
