Hi,
I have a WS-55809 and Ive been trying to get it to display anything but 640x480 or 848x480 at 60Hz.
I have a nVidia 9300 chip on my motherboard. I am using my VGA port to a VGA2RGBhv(5BNC) with RCA adapters to hoop up to my Mitsubishi's DTV input. In the "Input Assignments" on the TV I have the DTV set to RGB (not Component)
Like I said above only two resolutions seemed to work. I have played with the custom resolutions on the nVidia Control Panel and I have played with PowerStrip for about 8 hours (using this thread http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?threadid=206854&highlight=powerstrip)
Please Some One Help Me
Ive been reading some of the threads on this page and they seem very insightful, but none of them really touch what my dilemma is.
Thank you.

The only other resolution the DTV port will except is 1080i. And sometimes they dont like that if its from a PC. Try sending it 1080i and if it doesn't except it you might be able to force set it.

What Mac said, and to add: 1080i is 1920x1080 interlaced. Don't try sending it 1920x1080p
In powerestrip you'll need to uncheck the real time adjustments, then input 1920x1080 and goto the interlaced box to the left and check it off. Then try it. If your TV doens't like it then try one of the preset resolutions. There's a list of them, I belive I used the"1080i HDTV derived" or maybe the "ATi 1080i HDTV 1080i/30." I'm not running a Mitsubishi though so you'll have to experiment.
