Umm, I forgot, another 9500 from an avs member. Mint tubes, but leaky bellows. Wink

The running joke around here now is that if I had a 40,000 sq ft warehouse and $1 mil, if I bought every projector that was offered to me right now, at the end of the year the warehouse would be full, and I'd have some money left over.

It's a combination of my website, past customers upgrading/switching to digital (boo!), and corporations dumping large volumes of sets on me. I put out very few feelers, but a couple of scores on ebay in the last couple of months helped. Looks like two of the Runcos might be new in the box, haven't powered them up yet, and I'm buying a nonfunctioning one tomorrow in Seattle. One will be a test set, one will be parted out (ouch!), one will be for sale.

I can score a large contract as soon as I have one Cine9/909 in stock as a test set. That's why I bought these. Barco 909/Cine9 parts are as rare as G90 stuff right now, so I need to stock up.

What a waste to part a Cine9 out! The Cine9 is sooooooo much more quiet than a 909. Can't you part out a 909 in stead of a Cine9? There just is no better HT projector than a Cine9.

I completely agree... but.. I think these sets were set that Runco used for parts. One is missing two boards, the other is missing 4. While I can get the parts for them (and probably will to have them complete, the sad thing (for parting out the sets) is that I can get a service contract to maintain about 100 of these projectors, which in long run will net me more than selling one set. Besides, I've got 4 909s out there that I've sold at this point, and right now I've got no backup parts, and I've always maintained that I won't sell sets that I can't support.

So I'll power the sets up, keep the highest hour one as my test chassis and sell the other one. Pricing will be high, but a lot lower than what they sold for new. Wink Of course it will depend on tube and chassis hour count. WHo knows, maybe the tubes are worn, and these were 24/7 test sets at Runco with 50K hours on them. (I doubt it!)

I've got about 6 people that want sets, I'll contact them first to see if there's still interest, and if not, I'll post it here, then on the mailing list, then on fleabay.
