With no reason or provocation and simply on a lark, I chose to have a peek at the error code display while the cover was off of my 1272. When powering up the display flashes "18" twice. The projector is working very nicely and predictably. The manual indicates that the 18 error code is "V-stop" and "HV-over". There is no further discussion of the meanings or how to address these issues. Is anyone aware of any settings, adjustments or approach to investigate and/or correct this display? What might be the penality if it ignored, as I suspect it might of been for some while.
