I have a couple of questions on the remote codes for a Runco 1100 essentially a late model Barco 1209s/E. One I assume these projectors use the newer Barco codes (my projectors were manufactured May 2000)? Two can a Runco owner confirm what address their projector is that works with the default factory remote? My Runcos came out of multi projector installation and were set to different addresses. I assume the projector address should be 1 by default as that is what all my other Barcos are. You can confirm you projector address by bring up the info splash screen that show projector version, frimware, etc.
Unfortunately the remote that came with my two Runcos is busted. If you hit it real hard it works for about 10 seconds and then dies. I don't see any obvious dry solder joints or cracks in the board so no easy fix. I tried to program my Harmony using Runco 1101, Runco 1200, and the Barco Cinemax codes and the best I got was a working power button (everything else either didn't work or controlled the wrong function). Has anybody successfully got their Harmony working with a late model Barco? Any other ideas on how to get a working remote? I have used JP1 in the past and that is what I used to program another remote for my older Barcos but that process is more painful and it has been a long time since I did it so there would be a learning curve. Thanks!

Tom thanks for the data I used those CCF codes back in they day to make a JP1 remote for my regular Barco. I think those are the older codes I have already programmed into my old URC-8810. My recollection and this was years ago was that it took me quite a few hours to convert those CCF files over to something I could use for JP1. JP1 is not the most user friendly system but it did work. That said there were some CCFs for Cine series projectors on that site that probably would work if I can figure out how to do JP1 again.
I would certainly consider buying a Barco remote but the newer ones are hard to come by. I didn't see any on Ebay with one possible exception that $199. I thought Curt used to sell remotes he had programmed but I don't see that on his site anymore. If I could find a compatible remote reasonable that is certain an option I would consider.

I just thought I would update this thread for future reference. I can confirm that my Runco 1100 made in May 2000 has the newer Barco codes. I confirmed when a friend loaned me his original OEM 909 remote and it worked perfectly with my 1100. I then was able program my remote with the appropriate codes. It appears that something had gone wrong with my original remote that caused it not to always broadcast the correct code (it would work intermittently) and that is why I couldn't use it to program another remote.
