I am very happy with my HDP...but it seems that frequently the sync drops and the screen (9500lc) turns black for half a sec...

Anybody seen this as well?

Hi Arno, first what is the resolution your trying on the Lumagen to the Marquee?

I think the size alters the overall resolution where shrink doesnt it just sqeezes the image, i am not sure about that as i never used it.

If trying to use 1080p for BD movies I suggest doing the new 2.40 mod on the VDM and running 800p@72 from the lumagen.

You'll need to change R704,804 and 904 to 68 kohm metal film resistors, then do a complete initialization to reset the raster size.

you'll love the results!!

Hi Athanasios,

to the marquee at this moment there is 1080p/60 coming from the HDP (at the input a sony 550 doing the 1080/24)
By the way...for SD...set the player output to 480i/576i...or 480p/576p and then let the lumagen scal up?

I could not set the size values on the lumagen to the default values (which should be the best to do I read somewhere)
What are your size settings on the lumagen...default?

The image is stunning by the way especially after finetuning the greyscales on the hdp (with an eyeone on hcfr)...
Next will be the regionmod chip into the bd player and the 7.1 input board mod for my mc1

Wink
