So this would go on the sync lines I take it? Would you need 2 one for Horizontal one for vertical?
What about composite video or Sync on green?

Or you can buy an Extron box off ebay for $5. ... Or from me, I've got a half dozen of them kicking around...

The only issue is that by the time you put a couple of the 10 cent IC's on a board, add 4 BNC connectors, a power supply, and box, you're up to at least $40-50 or so. Not to mention the time wiring it up. I'd rather just spend an extra $40-50 and use a BUF2000 or GammaX and get gamma boost for the extra money as all CRT displays require some form of gamma boost to get a reasonable image quality (ie: gamma betwen 2.2 and 2.5).

Why not put the ICs in the PJ and pull the power for them from it? No box, no power supply, no BNC connectors...
No gamma, but if all you want is pos/neg sync change, that's the way to do it.

Not a bad idea. That an a set of dip switches.

Why the dip switches? If all you need to do is change an older Barco to positive sync, just put in the 7404's and go with it.

Well what if you decide to run a 1024x768 resolution in there from a lap top or something? Most of the time 1024x768 is negative sync. It's just nice to be able to switch it, just in case.
