Hi,

I plan to change my actual neckboards (R7621735) on my BG808 by the R762173 (no ABL) boards to try to get rid of the streaking problem. Is it safe? Do I need to change or adjust something after the replacement?

It's safe.

You need to adjust G2 and turn ABL pulse off from vertical board.

Thanks Ile. I read somewhere that the R762173 boards may have no protection against some possible tube failures (shortage or something like that). Is it true ?

I believe these boards are safe from spot burn. Its the even earlier RGB amps that you would not use that had no protection.
