Just watched this today on Netflix. Damn I loved this show! I don't get Showtime, so I had no F'ing clue what it was, but it was constantly in the TOP 50 most watched on Netflix so I decided to spend a few hours of baby sleeping time and watch it. I can't wait to watch the next season.

Anyone else into this?

Yep, I have Showtime and I haven't missed an episode. It's about the only reason I keep my subscription.

I have the first 3 seasons on blu-ray and had been waiting for time to sit down and watch. I put the first episode on 2 weeks ago... ended up watching all 3 seasons back to back over 5 days. Just awesome! Looking forward to them releasing the other seasons on blu-ray.

Totally habit forming, but a bit of a guilty pleasure when I watch....I feel like a soap opera fan.

Careful! You know what they say. Weed's can lead to the harder stuff, like "The Shield". It's a gateway box set I tell you. Wink

I watched the first few seasons via NetFlix with streaming from their site to my projector. You can download a trial version of the software "PlayOn" that allows you to do this. This way there is no waiting for the DVD's to show up and you can watch a few seasons in one seating. Very Happy

DRICE,

Are you just referring to streaming the shows to a computer? If so, I didn't have to download any software. Just plays inside a browswer window.

You can watch it here...

http://www.surfthechannel.com/show/263.html

Megavideo is the best but you are limited to about 70 minutes of free download and then a 1 hour timeout before you can watch another video.

Sorry, I should have been more descriptive. I was referring to streaming it through the PS3 and then playing it on the PJ with using the PlayOn software.

I remember hearing about that awhile back. How is the quality? (picture and sound)

It is fine for SD. My PJ upscales to 480p I have had no problems with streaming via the wireless connection of the PS3. I liked it so much I actually bought it after the trial period. You can also watch Hulu, ESPN, and one of the affliates. It can be addictive. I watched 3 seasons of Heros in 2 weeks.

Weeds is great. We've watched both seasons one and two on Blu-ray and have the 3rd sitting waiting to be watched as well.

The bonus is that the seasons are REALLY CHEAP on Blu-ray (less than the price of one regular movie) but it gives you almost 5 hours of enjoyment instead of just 2.

For example, season 1 on Blu-ray is only $15.99! That's 5 hours of entertainment for under $16!
Season 2 is even cheaper: $14.99!

Click HERE to buy Weeds on Blu-ray and support the forum in the process
