Got a customer that bought three tubes new from Sony for a D50, and needs someone to install them. Sony sets are more or less easier to install than a lot of other sets, so even someone not familiar with A d50 can do it.

Please shoot me an email so I can put you in touch with him.

Thanks!

Holy cow where did he find the blue? Shocked Sony hasn't had them for ages.

Dunno any of that. He emailed me wondering if I knew anyone that could put them in. By the sounds of it, he had another problem with the set, but we've gone through some tests, and it seems that the set itself is fine based on what he's told me.

Well, he is in Dallas. So, there should be plenty of people that can take care of him.

It is amazing that he bought new tubes. I picked up a spare D50 with around 1000 hours on the tubes a few months ago for $180 I have seen where you can buy almost brand new ones for $500 to $600. Can you imagine the machine he could have bought from Curt for the price of the tubes?
