Ken Whitcomb is scheduling a Calibrations tour to the East coast areas for mid February time frame. Specific dates could vary depending on appointments he gets.
Ken will be here in Virginia helping me swap out some parts and realign my NEC 6pg xtra. His previous work here was top-notch, but I have a new screen, made some room changes (screen position and projector mounting) and will be swapping some parts. Among many other set-ups, his work is reflected on Cliff and Art's G90 stacks.
To schedule a date & time, contact Ken from his web site at: http://www.calibrationsinc.com/.
You can also PM me, wallace1234, and I will pass along the contact info.

Ken and I have been working on this visit since before Thanksgiving. The timing on my part is what set the time frame.

Well, Ken just left. Another great set-up and calibration! Man, CRTs look really ef'ing good when done right.
We changed out the lens but left the tubes alone as the pj he brought with him had about the same wear as the pj I have already mounted. Besides, changing out the entire pj was not my idea of a fun time. At least I have a spare set of tubes, boards, etc... now.
I thought the picture could not get any better than it was before, but after spending some detailed time on the astig, WOW!!! The picture at 60 and 72 hz is just to die for at this point!
The colors and grey scale you may ask? I couldn't ask for better; seriously.
Once again, it was a blast to hang out with Ken for a few days, and watch him at work.
Now, down stairs to enjoy a beverage of my choice, a smoke and some CREAM - Live at RAH and David Gilmour - Live at RAH.
Thanks Ken and again, thanks to Cliff!
