I finally installed my Marquee 9500LC Ultra! It has a few minor issues, but it's alive!
As you guys remember, I had a problem with my green tube, displaying some interference patterns. It turned out to be an issue with grounding on the green neck board. I secured the grounding leads and it was gone. The other issue it has is some "fungus" on the red tube, but it is only visible on certain occasions.
In general, I can clearly see the difference between AC and LC. The grayscale is so much better, the image has a 3D feeling that is scary at times and the colors appear to be brighter, more saturated, even without a red C element.
I have also noticed that light sources in night scenes have that bluish shade that you only get from a film projector.
I am guessing it is a combination from the HD10GT lenses and the Ultra platform, but the grayscale is so much better, even without defocusing the blue. With the blue defocused it is even better, and I need to defocus it much less than I did with my Marquee 8500 non Ultra with HD8 lenses.
Thank you all once again for all your help,

Nicholas.
