My 10PG all of a sudden takes a long time for the image to appear.
The tube heaters are lit, the HV sounds like it is coming on. I checked to see if it was source related, but the PJ's menus are slow to come on too. When I select a menu, I can barely see it in the face of the green tube and then it will slowly brighten. If I turn the PJ off after it has been showing a image and then turn the PJ back on the image comes up quickly. No error message. I reseated the boards in the card cage.
Any ideas?
Thanks, Deron.

I had something similar, but all tubes were dull. Turns out I had the 10PG's C board disconnected.. which sent the heater voltage down to 3.6 volts instead of 6.3. Put the C board back in, all was normal.
I asked Doug about it, he'd never heard of that, but I duplicated it on another 10Pg I had here.

Trust me, that's the first thing I thought of when I saw the thread title.

So, still the same problem.
I did some experimenting, changed out the system board and that did not change anything. I can turn the G2 up and see each tube light up, but no image. The image always comes up, but it takes like five minutes.
Could it be somewhere in the video train?
Deron.

Put a meter on the filament pins. I'll bet it will creep up slowly.

I bet on the video output board. Rotten cap syndrome. Had 2 of them.
