Talk about running this through the ringer at damn near light speed. Its coming March 24th, 2009.

I remember when I had to be patient and wait for a movie to come out on DVD because I stopped going to the public theaters. Now the time between theatrical release and BD release is so short.

QoS opened in theaters November 14th... So, that makes the gap about 18 weeks or 4 1/2 months. Isn't that about par for the course for most stuff these days?

You probably just think it seems like the releases are getting faster because you're getting older and everything speeds up relative to you. Wink

I must have been distracted by the holidays and all the other movies and shows I watched on BD. Smile

For a studio film like this, the studio will make as much, if not more from the dvd release that it did in theaters. So the release is planned as part of the overall strategy. In years past it was an afterthought, "gravy" if you will. Now DVD/BR revenue is meat and potatoes.
