I have a g70 with the ifb-hd moome card, a denon 3808 and ps3. I have the 24hz turned off. Last night I watched iron man and the screen went blank or refreshed 42 times. I have the hdmi card running from the ps3 to the receiver and the receiver to the moome card. Does anyone have any suggestions or has anyone seen this and have a fix? I appreciate any help you can give.

If I had to guess I would say the video chain isn't getting along so well. It sounds like a handshake issue. But I am so very ignorant in these issues and I know squat about the denon 3808 other than what I just googled. Try bypassing the video switching of the denon. That's what I would try first. Does the denon firmware need upgrading? Also, when I first tried to watch Iron Man I had to update the firmware on my player before I could watch it. Same thing with Dark Knight, but I think that had more to do with the crappy player I was using at the time, also does the ps3 need updating? Good luck tell us what resolves it for you

Sounds like a Denon/Moome issue, or the interconnect between Denon and Moome card. It doesn't behave that way with any other movies? Try connecting the PS3 directly to the Moome card and see if it still does it.

I had to do a firmware update on my PS3 for Ironman as well. Hopefully, an easy fix for you.
